It is with much enthusiasm that I accepted the honorary presidency of this 2nd edition of the RONA Memory Walk. This fundraising event is very important for the Alzheimer Society of Québec. The funds collected through this Walk will ensure the viability of the new service entitled Respite Workshops. In this period where the diagnoses of Alzheimer's disease are increasingly numerous, it is essential to provide special needs services to those with Alzheimer's as well as to their caregivers.


Being a caregiver myself, I feel very strongly about contributing to this noble cause. I truly hope my involvement will help thousands of people suffering from Alzheimer's to have a better quality of life. The more we are, when we walk on May 25th, the more those with Alzheimer's will benefit from the free services provided by the Alzheimer Society of Québec.
