Alzheimer's for me is more than just a disease. My mother-in-law died of Alzheimer's and my mother is currently suffering from it. Alzheimer's represents family members and friends who have seen them slowly detach themselves and forget us little by little. Alzheimer's represents all those people suffering from the disease, and their families who need comfort and help. And it is the Alzheimer Society of Maskoutains-Vallée des Patriotes that can respond to their despair.
May 25, 2008 will be a festive gathering where people will enjoy being together. We hope that you will be among us and that together we will be able to make a difference for those suffering from Alzheimer's as well as for those who care for them. Thank you for your generosity.
