This is the second year that John and I are participating in this worthy event. This time we are teaming up with our friends Kathryn Cleveland and Bill Scherbak and walking together.
Our family has seen first-hand the value of what the Society offers. My mother, Helen, attends the Alzheimer Society Day Centre in Lachine and it makes a huge difference to her well-being and attitude, as well as motivating her and helping maintain some of her abilities. They have also been extremely supportive to me. This is all done free of charge. Together we can ease people affected with this debilitating disease and work towards eradicating it entirely.
