Your Alzheimer society is looking for volunteers to help organize the event. You are available to help before the Walk, or you would like to be a part of the volunteers team on the day of the Walk, register, and we will contact you.

Memory Walk, Sunday May 25th 2008
8:00 to 10:00 a.m.: Welcoming the walkers, registration and handing out of promotional items (e.g.: bandanas). 9:00 a.m.: Start of live entertainment 9:45 a.m.: Welcoming speech (Ms. Marie Ève Goulet) Speech given by the president of the Alzheimer Society (Ms. Lise Marcoux) Speech given by the honorary president (Ms. Danielle Deland) Speech given by the spokesperson (M. Jacques Boulerice) Security precautions (Ms. Marie Ève Goulet) 10:00 a.m.: Special warm-up for all walkers 10:15 a.m.: Start of Walk 11:30 a.m.: Welcoming the walkers Light snack and family activities (make-up artist, balloons, etc.) 12:30 p.m.: Revealing of funds collected (Ms. Lise Marcoux) Expression of thanks (Ms. Marie Ève Goulet) Distribution of awards (Ms. Danielle Deland) Invitation to participate in the 2009 Walk (Ms. Marie Ève Goulet) 13:00 p.m.: Speech given by spokesperson (Mr. Jacques Boulerice) 13:30 p.m.: End of festivities

Route • Departure: corner of Richelieu and Saint-Charles • Follow Richelieu Street until Champlain • Continue on Champlain (follow the river) • Turn left on Saint-Joseph • Turn left on Salaberry • Continue until Saint-Paul Street • Turn left on Saint-Paul • Turn right on Champlain • Continue on Champlain until Saint-Jacques Street • Turn left on Saint-Jacques • Turn left on Richelieu: back to departure spot
