Become a Walker
  • Register by creating your own online donation centre, or by sending the form to your Alzheimer society.
  • Collect funds for the cause.
  • Take part in the Memory Walk on May 25, 2008.
  • Registration is free for "Elite" walkers. Those who have collected more than $200 in funds will have their registration fee reimbursed.
  • Registration fees for the Walk:

    - $10 per adult, senior or student 
    - $25 per family

Become a volunteer
Your Alzheimer society is looking for volunteers to help organize the event. You are available to help before the Walk, or you would like to be a part of the volunteers team on the day of the Walk, register, and we will contact you.

Memory Walk

Sunday May 25th 2008 in Cowansville (rain or shine)

Departure at the Parc Centre-ville, Principale Street (next to the municipal library)
8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.: Welcome and registration
9:45 a.m.: Welcoming speech
10:00 a.m.: Safety precautions and warm-ups
10:15 a.m.: Departure
11:00 to 11:30 a.m.: Welcoming the walkers
11:30 a.m.: Snack
12:30 p.m.: Expression of thanks

• First Aid team
• Volunteers to guide you throughout the Walk
• Water bottles handed out at the start
 
The Granby and REGIONS Alzheimer Society, established in 1990, helps people affected by Alzheimer's disease as well as their families by providing programs and necessary resources (support, relief care, home-care, day centre and training) or by referring to existing resources. Its mission is also to inform the population and raise awareness. It offers programs and services that are customized according to a person's individual needs and according to his/her ability to benefit from these services.
